Referencing software workshops for Postgraduates and Staff


Endnote referencing software

Endnote software allows you to manage your references and format them in particular styles, e.g. APA, MLA.
Endnote X7 is available on campus computers, and you can borrow the disk from the library to load it onto your own computer or laptop.
This session will introduce you to the basics of using Endnote so you can store and manage your references to enter citations and create bibliographies in your work.
Students should have a working knowledge of APA or the referencing style of their subject before undertaking this workshop.

Monday 15 June, Mt Albert Library Training Room, 1pm to 2:30pm

Zotero referencing software

This session will introduce you to the basics of using Zotero to store and cite your references.
Zotero is free software that allows you to easily collect references from webpages, library catalogues or article databases.  
Zotero sits in your web browser, but it is based in the cloud, so you can view your reference library from any internet-connected computer. 
It is easy to use to form citations and bibliographies in styles such as APA and Chicago.
Students should have a working knowledge of APA or the referencing style of their subject before undertaking this workshop.
